Having a new home built in Florida while you're still living on Long Island, New York, could cause concern for the homeowners. But not for Henry and Janet Locke who did just that.
"From the moment we met the people at SanderSon Bay ... from Chuck, the President ... to Dustin, the Director of Sales and Marketing to Lisa, the office support ... and everyone else, we knew these were people we could trust," said Janet. "When we were in Citrus County, Dustin took the time to help us find a perfect lot in a location that we were told by others would be "impossible" to find one. He never lost patience and demonstrated that he, and his coworkers, really did care about us."

The Lockes chose the St. Martin model and had it modified to suit their needs. They eliminated the fourth bedroom, thus allowing them to have an oversized study, a larger pantry and more cabinets in the kitchen, plus an extra five feet width in the garage.
"Despite the obvious building boom in Citrus County," said Henry, "SanderSon Bay was able to complete our home as planned and still allowed us to make changes along the way. This is a credit to their crews, especially the forman, Mike Williams, who oversaw the construction."
When asked which single feature they liked most about their new home, they both chimed in: "The courtyard!" And it's no wonder. As with most newcomers to Citrus County, they spend most of their time on the lanai enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.
Janet, did add, "I love my kitchen, too. Especially the design of the cabinets and my beautiful undermount sink."
